I have experience administering, supporting, and tooling for Perforce since 1997, for groups ranging in size from 20 to 250 users, (including software developers, technical writers, systems administrators, support engineers, and managers). I've also integrated Perforce with build automation and defect tracking systems multiple times.

I am particularly experienced with the process of converting CVS-based SCM operations to Perforce. While I am happy to support the use of the cvs2p4 conversion tool for those wishing to undertake such a conversion on their own, I must point out that there is usually much more to a successful and smooth conversion than simply converting your repository data! I am familiar with these issues, and can help you to do the preparatory work required to make your conversion successful.

• Original instigator for Perforce and Perforce administrator at Network Appliance, 1995-2001.

• Open Source Engineer at Perforce Software, from August 2001 through December 2002.

• Tools Engineer (responsible for administering Perforce) at Data Domain, 2003-2005.

• Since 1997, author and maintainer of cvs2p4, a free tool for importing CVS repositories into Perforce.
